"With things looking so dark for the Toronto Maple Leafs and their captain John Tavares after last night we've finally got an update. Tavares of course left last night's game on a stretcher and spent the night in the hospital. The Leafs just gave their first official update regarding the captain. Tavares was released from hospital this morning after passing all the needed tests. "Toronto Maple Leafs captain John Tavares has been discharged from the hospital this morning. He was thoroughly examined and assessed by the neurosurgical team at St. Michael's Hospital and the club's medical director. He was kept overnight for observation and is now resting at home under the care and supervision of team physicians. Tavares will be out indefinitely."Prayers up for the captain!
