"It was a busy day for Toronto Maple Leafs' general manager Kyle Dubas yesterday as he held a presser and made some roster moves. One of those moves included placing one of his offseason free agent signings on waivers. Forward Jimmy Vesey found himself exposed to waivers at noon time after struggling to really find a spot in the lineup. He started out the season getting some opportunities on the top six thanks to injuries but eventually ended up being a healthy scratch and on the bottom six. On Wednesday he found out if there was any interest for him around the league and his low cap hit of $900k. Vesey is headed out West and will become a Vancouver Canuck.
