"The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking for cheap options with high upside once again as they're tight up against the cap. Much like Alex Galchenyuk last year, the Leafs will likely take a shot on a forward who seems to be running out of chances in the NHL. This year that player sounds to be Josh Ho-Sang. Ho-Sang played himself out of Long Island as he just didn't seem to be part of GM Lou Lamoriello's plans. The 25 year old has played the last two seasons in the AHL and overseas. In total the 2014 first round pick has 7 goals in 53 games and is expected to sign a two way deal which means he'll definitely need to prove something to have any chance of an NHL roster spot.
Josh Ho-Sang is going to get a fresh start this summer as he looks to get back to the NHL. Keep an eye on the Toronto Maple Leafs; likely a two-way contract when completed. — David Pagnotta (@TheFourthPeriod) July 27, 2021
