BREAKING Leafs Forward "Out Indefinitely" After Surgery.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced some more injury news on Friday. Leafs' forward Alexander Kerfoot is out indefinitely after having surgery to repair some facial dental fractures. The Leafs revealed this morning that Kerfoot sustained the injury on Novemeber 5 against Los Angeles. Kerfoot told the team that he felt "ongoing discomfort" during the Leafs trip to New York.After checking with a specialist it was determined that surgery was needed.

Kerfoot originally sustained the injury on Nov. 5 vs. Los Angeles. After Kerfoot reported ongoing discomfort while the team was in New York to face the Islanders, consultation testing determined that surgery was required to repair the facial dental fractures. (2/2) #LeafsForever
