"While some believe that Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas should be on the hot seat, that seems far from the case. Dubas and the Leafs have made another pretty interesting hire as they bring in a former Florida Panthers front office piece. NHL insider Frank Seravalli reports that the Leafs have hired former Panther assistant general manager Eric Joyce. Joyce who actually comes from an Army background has spent the last couple of years putting in a lot of AHL general manager work before being promoted to the Panthers in 2016. He'll take on the role of Director of Hockey Strategy with the Leafs. More to come.
