"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a roster move on Thursday. The team has signed OHL forward Justin Brazeau to an AHL contract which will pay him a $70k base salary and $60k signing bonus. The 21 year old used his age and size to his advantage this season in the OHL as he registered 60 goals and 52 assists for 113 points in 68 games while playing for the North Bay Battalion. There was a bit of a bidding war for the forward as the Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Vegas Golden Knights and Columbus Blue Jackets all tried to sign the undrafted forward. More to come.
Justin Brazeau agrees to a 2 year, AHL deal with the Toronto Marlies. $70,000 base salary and $60,000 signing bonus per year. — Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) April 4, 2019
