"The rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens isn't just at an NHL level, it's at an AHL level too. The Toronto Marlies and Laval Rocket are pretty heated rivals and it's shown especially after playing each other so much last year. A recent matchup between the two teams on October 27 has resulted in suspensions for not just 1 but 2 Marlies players. Defenseman Alex Biega has been suspended for two games after a head shot delivered to Laval Rocket forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard. Biega received a five minute major and game misconduct for the hit during the game. Rich Clune has also been suspended one game for his instigator penalty against Michael Pezzetta during the end of the same game. Clune and Pezzetta have a history having previously already dropped the gloves. Check out the Biega hit below, do you think it was suspension worthy?
