Nylander Explains What Made The Team Turn It Around Last Night.

"The Toronto Maple Leafs finally turned it around and got a W on the board. It wasn't easy either. After the first period the Leafs were already down 2-0 to the Chicago Blackhawks after being outscored 11-2 in their two previous games and things weren't looking pretty. But the Leafs turned it around period by period and before you knew it the two teams were headed to overtime where William Nylander would score the game winner on a breakaway. After the game Nylander told the media what turned things around. "Time to wake up. Enough feeling sorry for ourselves. Like nobody is going to get us out of this," Nylander said postgame, per Sportsnet's Luke Fox.
"We needed to up the battle."«What was the score, 2-0? Come back and win 3-2 in OT? I think that's a good way to battle back when you're going through a lot of adversity.»
