"The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking for solutions for the backup goalie position. Part of that search involved placing Michael Hutchinson on waivers yesterday. Hutchinson lost another Sunday night and now has a 0-4-1 record along with a 4.44 goals against average and .879 save percentage. To nobody's surprise, Hutchinson went unclaimed and will now be assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.
