Yesterday we had a bit of a surprise when Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas placed both Jason Spezza and Aaron Dell on waivers.It was a risky move considering multiple teams looking for goalie help and a cheap solid veteran.Spezza's agent made it clear that he would retire if he was claimed and that tactic worked as he cleared waivers.However maybe Dell should have done the same.Dell has been claimed by the New Jersey Devils.More details to come.
