Rapper 50 Cent performed in Boston over the weekend and his support of the Toronto Maple Leafs did not sit well with Bruins fans in attendance.

Out of all the people that would support the Leafs, no one would expect it to be a guy from New York as the Toronto and New York sports rivalry is fairly heated, with the Leafs and Rangers being two of the NHL's Original Six teams.

During his show in Boston on his 'Final Lap' Tour, Fifty dawned a Leafs hat on stage to troll the Boston faithful. Even if it upset just a handful of Bruins fans, it was mission accomplished for the 49-year-old rapper.

50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, once known for wearing bulletproof vests on stage while he performed, really embraced the "hostile territory" thing to the fullest extent, so perhaps this is all just an extension of that. Repping the Maple Leafs in Boston, though, may have made more Bruins fans laugh than scowl, given the team's tremendous success rate against the Leafs, especially in recent years.

50 Cent makes his way to Toronto at the end of July, so it will be interesting to see if he continues to support the Leafs and Toronto sports teams or he flips the script and chooses to troll Toronto sports fans next, perhaps wearing Bruins gear during the event.
