Coyotes social media team fires a shot at the Leafs and Sens after snapping 14-game losing skid
After losing their 14th game in a row Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Arizona Coyotes took on the Ottawa Senators last night. The Coyotes managed to hang on for a 5-3 victory, snapping their losing streak and collecting their first win in 39 days.
Following the victory, the Coyotes' social media team took a shot at the Leafs and the Sens with a clip of Matias Maccelli scoring on the empty net with the caption: "Not only did the Arizona Coyotes win. But we also followed proper etiquette and put the puck into the empty net very, very gently ;)"
I'm not sure if this is a bigger shot at the Leafs or the Sens. Are they poking at Rielly's reaction to the Ridly Greig clapper? Are they jabbing at the Sens for Ridly Greig having no respect for his opponents? Both? Either way, I'm not sure the Yotes are in any position to be throwing shots at anyone right now.
