"Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas is making headlines today. He started off by placing forward Jimmy Vesey on waivers after a pretty disappointing start to the season and need for cap space. Dubas then held his midseason presser and confirmed a report by Elliotte Friedman last week. The Leafs are looking to make a trade in the next 14 days to get a head start on any quarantining period and Dubas specifically mentioned he's looking for forward help. Dubas also mentioned that he's willing to give up a top prospect to get a deal done and isn't necessarily looking for a hockey deal and he would be happy with a rental. Could Nick Robertson, Rasmus Sandin or Timothy Liljegren be on the move? This is going to be a very interesting story to follow!
