Jeff O'Neill, former Toronto Maple Leafs turned analyst for TSN, endured an embarrassing moment when he needed to fix his false teeth during broadcast.

You just never know what's going to be caught on camera when you're doing live TV. Former Toronto Maple Leafs player Jeff O'Neill is getting teased by his co-workers after having to make some adjustments during a live broadcast.

O'Neill enjoyed an 11-year NHL career, but is now an analyst for TSN. As the broadcast crew was getting in some pre-game chatter in advance of last night's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New Jersey Devils, O'Neill was caught fixing up one of his accessories before he was supposed to appear on camera.

Like many former and current hockey players, O'Neill has false teeth after having his front ones knocked out during his career. While co-host Cheryl Pounder was going over some notes, O'Neill could be seen putting some Poligrip on his dentures and affixing them to his gums. It's pretty obvious that the Poligrip doesn't have a very pleasant taste.

Jeff O'Neill's false teeth are apparently a running joke for the TSN crew. Brian Hayes recently joked about O'Neill's teeth falling out while he was on the air, and suggested O'Neill switch from Poligrip to Polident.

Some guys wait until their hockey career is over and opt to go with dental implants to avoid having the kind of issues Jeff O'Neill is having with his falsies. Apparently, O'Neill prefers to old fashioned way of using a minty, adhesive paste to make sure his chompers aren't flying out of his mouth all the time. It seems like an easy choice to me, but to each their own I guess.
