The Toronto Maple Leafs might be looking at adding some blueline help at the trade deadline if they don't have to give up too much. One of the names that's been mentioned a lot is that of Detroit Red Wings defenseman, Mike Green. TSN's Frank Seravalli recently looked at the top suitors for Green and included the Leafs along with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals. Seravalli mentions that Green could be the right shot dman head coach Babcock wants, but Seravalli said the deal would likely only make sense for the Leafs if they can re-sign him. Especially if the Leafs would have to give up a roster player to land him. Green has been mostly looked at as a possible rental, at 32 years old some fans wouldn't want to see him re-signed. He's coming off the final year of a deal that paid him $6million a season, and currently has 26 points in 50 games so far this season. Would you be willing to sign Green to an extension?
