Auston Matthews showed some love to pop sensation Justin Bieber this week after Bieber posted himself playing hockey on his Instagram.

Pop idol, Justin Bieber is mostly known for his singing and songwriting. However, the Ontario native is also known for loving hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs, as he has always been a huge Leafs fan since even before his rise to fame.

Bieber has been seen hanging around the Maple Leafs over the past few seasons, forming close bonds with several players. The bromance between Matthews and Bieber has continued throughout Matthews' career and was showcased again this week on an Instagram post from Bieber.

Matthews was clearly impressed with Bieber's play, as he commented on his post.

''Filth 🔥🤢'' - Auston Matthews

Bieber loves to lace up the skates and is actually a pretty decent player. He has been seen displaying his hockey skills many times, most notably in Toronto earlier this year at the NHL Allstar Game as he was the celebrity co-captain, along side with All-Star team captain Auston Matthews.

Whether you're a fan of Bieber or not, the exposure he has brought to the NHL is very welcoming. Hockey players generally are pretty conservative people, so it's pretty cool to see Matthews and other Maple Leafs teammates hang out with stars like Bieber, and showcase their personalities a little more.
