"The Toronto Maple Leafs are currently riding a three game win streak and have won eight of their last nine games and sit second in the Atlantic Division.Despite the hot streak, head coach Sheldon Keefe has decided to switch it up a bit. Keefe announced a bunch of lineup changes heading into Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators. Auston Matthews finds himself with some new linemates as he's reunited with Mitch Marner and Nick Ritchie. «Obviously Ritchie, Auston and Mitch was what we had started with [earlier this season], and it didn't go well,» Keefe told reporters.«I think that all three players, frankly, are in a different place right now with their game than where they were, so we wanted to give it another run,» Keefe continued.William Nylander meanwhile finds himself back with John Tavares and Alexander Kerfoot on the wing. «It's been interesting because I do think the individual players have played well,» Keefe said, of Matthews and Nylander, who spent 10 games together on the top line. «And when I went through and I looked at the chances that Auston's generated and the chances that Will's generated, they haven't necessarily involved each other. And it just speaks to how great individually that they are. But the connection hasn't been there.»
Timothy Liljegren also finds himself scratched on Tuesday as both Travis Dermott and Justin Holl will dress for tonight's game. Check out the full lineup below:Ritchie - Matthews - Marner
