The Toronto Maple Leafs got a bit of rest after closing out their season on Friday night. Back on the ice at practice before Thursday's puck drop for Game 1 against the Montreal Canadiens and we've got the answer to one of head coach Sheldon Keefe's big decisions this week. There's been lots of speculation on who could lead the Leafs into the playoffs and Keefe has confirmed the answer. Keefe confirmed to reporters that Jack Campbell will get the Game 1 start on Thursday between the pipes. While Keefe also confirmed that it's not written in stone Campbell will start the whole series, he said that between Campbell's 17-3-2 record along with the confidence he gives the team it's the main reason Campbell will get the first shot. «He's done a terrific job,» Keefe said. «And the other part of it, of course, is just the circumstances surrounding Fred.»
What do you think of Keefe's decision?
