It seems that the Toronto Maple Leafs might have found their perfect trade partner. According to NHL insider Bob McKenzie the Calgary Flames are looking to shed some salary and can move one of T.J. Brodie or Travis Hamonic this summer. Kent Wilson of The Athletic believes it's the perfect match for the Leafs who seriously need help on the blueline. Not only are they both reliable defenseman, but just like Jake Muzzin they only have one year left on their contract. The only hold up in a possible trade is that Wilson reports the Flames would prefer a return which incldues Kasperi Kapanen but the Leafs will try and push for Connor Brown to go to Calgary instead of Kapanen. Both play on the right side and only Brodie carries a modified no trade clause which includes an 8 team no trade list. Which of the two would you prefer to see on the Leafs blueline?
