With the Toronto Maple Leafs embarking on another back-to-back set, Craig Berube confirms which starting goaltender will be between the pipes vs. Pens and Sharks.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a very rare off-day on Saturday, but that's primarily because they have yet another back-to-back set upcoming with the first game taking place tomorrow afternoon in Pittsburgh.
There's been a lot of talk about how Craig Berube would use his goaltenders coming out of the 4 Nations Face-Off break, especially with Anthony Stolarz having fully recovered from his knee injury.
He mentioned that he would be alternating starts for the foreseeable future and while Stolarz earned back to back starts earlier in the week, Berube is going back to Joseph Woll with Toronto set for battle against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
On the season Woll has put up a 20-11-0 record to go along with a 2.63 GAA and a .910 SV%. He has posted a 5-3-0 record over his last 8 contests with a .916 SV% and has won 3 of his last 4 starts.
There were questions about whether or not the 26-year-old could handle a starter's workload with his injury history and lack of experience but he has done so with flying colours.
Woll has already surpassed the 23 starts and 25 games played he set last year and has blown past his win totals as well (12). With Berube having mentioned that he will be rolling with one goaltender during the playoffs, look for Woll to try to stake his claim as the number one.
The Maple Leafs as a whole enter the contest riding a 4-game winning streak and have won 7 of their last 8 games. The Penguins on the other hand have struggled coming out of the break but are coming off the heels of a major comeback victory against the Philadelphia Flyers their last time out.
Woll will look to stop the likes of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Erik Karlsson as he searches for his 21st win of the season while the Leafs continue their push towards a division crown.
With Woll earning the nod against Pittsburgh, look for Stolarz to be between the pipes on Monday night when they return home to face off against the San Jose Sharks.
