Leafs Showing Interest In Top NCAA Free Agent.

While the NHL season has been suspended, Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas continues to get some work done. Dubas signed defenseman Filip Kral to a three year entry level contract and Kristians Rubins to a two year entry level contract.Now it seems they might be in the mix for one of the NCAA Hobey Baker Hat Trick Finalists.Jordan Kawaguchi revealed to Postmedia's Steve Ewen and said he has interest from "a handful" of NHL teams. One of those teams is expected to be the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 5'9", 181lb forward put up 15 goals and 30 assists this past season for the University of Dakota. The 22 year olds size has some teams scared off, while other teams believe his playmaking ability makes up for that.
