"The Toronto Maple Leafs head to Boston and look to extend their road winning streak to seven games with a win against the Bruins. Garret Sparks will get the start in between the pipes for the Leafs after Frederik Andersen played Friday night and put up 38 saves in a 6-1 win against the New Jersey Devils. With Auston Matthews out of the lineup, John Tavares has started to put it together with five points during a four game point streak. "If the players work real hard and things come together we have a chance to have a lot of success. That's what we're trying to do each and every day and some days it goes good." said head coach Mike Babcock.
The Bruins will be without goalie Tuukka Rask as he's taken a leave of absence to take care of a personal matter. Jaroslav Halak will get the start and he's enjoyed some success so far with the Bruins with a 4-1-2 record 1.96 goals against average and .936 save percentage.
