The Toronto Maple Leafs have been eyeing Stian Solberg with the 23rd overall pick, a defenseman who was recently dubbed "the most violent man in the draft".
There aren't many Norwegians who go on to have notable NHL careers, but Stian Solberg is looking to put Oslo on the map with his tremendous potential.
Elite Prospects had the following to say about Solberg leading up to next week's draft:
"What defines Solberg above everything else is his mean streak. He's not content just repelling opponents. He wants them to be as close as possible, as it's then easier for him to press his stick in their back. He inflicts pain every chance he gets, immobilizes opponents, and knocks them away from the front of the net."
He certainly sounds like someone the Leafs should be interested in, as he checks a lot of boxes for Brad Treliving and Craig Berube. Don't be surprised if we hear his name called with the 23rd overall pick by the Maple Leafs on June 28th.
