On the second leg of their back-to-back, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube will make only one change to his lineup against the Montreal Canadiens.

Without the services of Auston Matthews, the Maple Leafs are riding a 2-game winning streak and they are hoping they can push it to 3 against the Montreal Canadiens tonight on home ice.

After a 4-0 shutout victory on Tuesday against Boston and then a 3-1 win over Detroit last night, Anthony Stolarz will hand the crease over to his running mate in Joseph Woll as he looks for just his 2nd win of the season.

Conor Dewar will remain a healthy scratch as he awaits his season debut, Max Domi will continue centre the top line with Matthew Knies and Mitch Marner, Max Pacioretty will stay on the second line, and Morgan Rielly and Chris Tanev will continue to man their own defensive pairings, partnered with Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Jake McCabe, respectively.

Woll is 1-2-0 on the young season after coming back from a stint on the IR to begin the season. The young netminder holds a 2.70 GAA and .892 SV% with 2 losses to St. Louis but a strong 24-save performance in a win against Seattle.

Woll hasn't seen much of the Canadiens in his young career, but won his only start against the them in his career with a scintillating .967 SV%.

Woll is looking to finally make in-roads as an NHL goaltender, but has been bitten by the injury bug far too often. Last year he was 12-11-1 with a .907 SV% and a 2.94 GAA, but posted a .964 SV% and a GAA under 1.00 in 3 post-season appearances before bowing out of Game 7 with an injury suffered at the tail end of Game 6 against Boston.

The 8-5-2 Maple Leafs will be looking for their 2nd three-game winning streak of the season, while the 4-8-2 Canadiens are looking to avoid their 6th straight loss.
