The Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing for their first playoff series under head coach Sheldon Keefe. Keefe of course took over early on in the season when the team decided to let veteran head coach Mike Babcock go. It was a mixed reaction when Babcock was let go but the team and fans have moved on and look forward to the best of five series against Columbus. Babcock has been radio silent since being fired and hasn't really been attached to any possible head coaching gig across the NHL except for possibly being Seattle's first coach. While we wait to see if he decides to jump back in the NHL, Babcock has landed a gig in the meantime. Babcock has joined the University of Vermont's coaching staff as a Volunteer Advisor to the Coaching staff. Former NHL defenseman Mark Stuart has also jumped on as a Volunteer Assistant Coach. What do you think of Babcock's new gig?
