"The Toronto Maple Leafs hit the ice for practice this morning and welcomed back Mitch Marner to the mix. Marner was a full go at practice and it created a logjam at various places in the lineup. One of those places was the power play where head coach Sheldon Keefe decided to remove Morgan Rielly in favour of Marner and that meant Tyson Barrie was the only defenseman on the first power play unit. Rielly found himself on the second power play unit and commented on the switch after practice. «(Barrie) is outstanding on the power play. He's got a great shot and he's been doing it for a long time. Especially with our unit that hasn't exactly been scorching hot, I think it's a good opportunity to change things up.»
Barrie has really seemed to have found his game since Keefe came on board and it's good to see Rielly take it in stride and comment on it like the leader he is.
