Based on these comments from NHL Insider Darren Dreger, the Toronto Maple Leafs are assured to look different after Friday's NHL Trade Deadline.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to be one of the teams who are more active at the Trade Deadline, which is set for this Friday afternoon.
They've already been reported to have turned down an offer from the Philadelphia Flyers that would have sent them Scott Laughton in exchange for Fraser Minten. But, that doesn't mean that GM Brad Treliving doesn't have a few tricks up his sleeve between now and Friday afternoon.
Per long-time NHL Insider Darren Dreger, the Maple Leafs are essentially guaranteed to look different after Friday's Trade Deadline comes and goes.
"What I know is the Toronto Maple Leafs, because of the cap situation, they're right on the cap line, they are going to look different on Friday after the deadline. Players coming in means players going out."

We'll see what transpires between now and then.

THE LEAFS ARE FACING A CRITICAL SPRING/SUMMER:

Fans of the Maple Leafs are all too familiar with the refrain from their critics that the team has hasn't had a long playoff run and hasn't advanced to the Conference Finals since 2002.
Last year featured another heartbreaking 7-game loss to a divisional foe, the Boston Bruins, culminating in their 4th straight Game 7 setback at Boston's TD Garden.
If the Maple Leafs fail to go on an extended postseason run this spring, there could be major changes to the organization that could potentially also see the departures of one or both of pending free agent forwards Mitch Marner and John Tavares.
