"The Toronto Maple Leafs were hit with a real tough bump in the road last night during their loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Zach Hyman was injured during a knee on knee collision with Canucks' defenseman Alex Edler who was given a 5 minute major and game misconduct for the play. Hyman didn't return to the game and will more than likely miss some time. After the game Nylander was straight forward with his comments calling out Edler for the play. «a pretty dirty hit,»
John Tavares wasn't a fan of the play either.«I didn't love the hit. Obviously, he got a five and the game misconduct for a reason.»"Hopefully, nothing too serious.»
Pretty much the same sentiment Auston Matthews had. «He's a critical part of this team, and those kind of plays the knee-on-knee hits I mean, they're scary,»
Did you think it was a dirty play?
