"An interesting revelation as Toronto Maple Leafs' players met with the media for the first time. Forward William Nylander revealed that he hasn't been vaccinated yet. It's an interesting revelation considering that both general manager Kyle Dubas and forward Mitch Marner mentioned recently that the team was 100% vaccinated and ready to go. Nylander added that he does plan to get vaccinated though but has just been dealing with a medical complication. Luckily for the Leafs and Nylander the team doesn't travel to the United States until October 23 when they face the Pittsburgh Penguins. That means Nylander should be able to get in both doses before leaving to the US and not face quarantine when returning to Canada.
William Nylander says he isn't fully vaccinated yet due to some medical things but will be fully vaccinated soon. — David Alter (@dalter) September 22, 2021
