The Toronto Maple Leafs didn't have the season ending they were hoping for and the offseason is going to be tricky. General manager Kyle Dubas really built the team as kind of a "all in on this year" build so we'll see lots of changing faces this offseason. Apparently it's not just roster players that might be changing as we could see some coaching changes this offseason as well. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, there's growing interest in head coach Sheldon Keefe's assistants. Friedman reports that multiple teams have requested permission to speak to their assistants. Manny Malholtra and Dave Hakstol would likely draw plenty of interest. This will be an interesting story to follow during the offseason especially with the Seattle Kraken needing to fill out their coaching staff as well.
