The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas spent the offseason signing gritty veterans who can help the Leafs get over the playoff bump. The team has struggled to close out a seven game playoff series so Joe Thornton, Wayne Simmonds, TJ Brodie and Zach Bogosian were all brought in. Reports have made it clear that the Leafs' are looking to add another forward during the season leading up to the deadline. One option is apparently veteran forward Bobby Ryan. Ryan will attract lots of attention with his $1million cap hit on the season and he's registered six goals and seven assists so far this season in 24 games. According to Eklund from HockeyBuzz, the Leafs and Montreal Canadiens are expected to jump into a bidding war for the 33 year old forward. Eklund adds that both teams have a variety of mid level picks or prospects to make it work. Do you think Ryan would be a good veteran presence for the Leafs' playoff push?
