It's no secret the Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas are looking at adding another forward. We've heard the name of Mikael Grandlund pop up a lot however the team might have shifted focus to a grittier forward from the same division who will also be UFA after this season. The Columbus Blue Jackets have struggled to keep it together this season much like the Nashville Predators and we've heard that this year they'll be willing to move out some names at the deadline. According to the Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun that's exactly why the Leafs have been circling over Blue Jackets' captain Nick Foligno. The forward can play all three forward positions and even though he carries a hefty $5.5million cap hit, the two teams could figure out a dollar in dollar out trade. Simmons believes a trade involving Alexander Kerfoot and a young defenseman like Rasmus Sandin or Timothy Liljegren could get the deal done. The Sun writer would even be willing to maybe make a move that involves Nick Robertson. Would you like to see Foligno in a Leafs' uniform?
