"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas will be getting busy this offseason and it seems the Pittsburgh Penguins might be one of their frequent trade partners. It was reported that Matt Murray was supposed to be part of the Kasperi Kapanen deal however it fell through because of what Murray was going to ask for during arbitration. It sounds like that might have changed. According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli of TSN, things are heating up for Murray right now and a trade is around the corner. Seravalli says that the Leafs along with the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres and Colorado Avalanche are the teams looking to make a strong push to land Murray. Murray is currently RFA and if the Leafs' do land the Pens' goalie, we can expect that a Frederik Andersen trade would almost certainly happen in the following 24-48hrs. Kyle Dubas has strong ties to Murray going back to their Soo Greyhound days in the OHL.
