"The Toronto Maple Leafs were the first time to make a move during the offseason and it was pretty significant. General manager Kyle Dubas shipped off Kasperi Kapanen to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a first round pick. However the deal could have been much bigger apparently according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
