Craig Berube has added some size and physicality to the Leafs' lineup ahead of what should be a very physical rematch against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Sunday saw the Leafs defeat the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime 3-2, but unfortunately, it was at the cost of defenseman Jake McCabe.

McCabe did not return after smacking his head off the ice during a scrap with Flyers forward Garnet Hathaway. A concussion is the feared result.

Yesterday, the Leafs placed the 31-year-old on injured reserve meaning he will be out of the lineup for the next week at the minimum.

As the Leafs and Flyers get set for a rematch, it appears as though head coach Craig Berube is preparing for some sort of retribution for the McCabe injury on Tuesday as Nicholas Robertson is coming out of the lineup in favour of Ryan Reaves.

With Robertson out and Reaves in, Steven Lorentz gets an opportunity on the third line with Max Pacioretty and Max Domi while Reaves draws in next to Connor Dewar and David Kampf.

Reaves has yet to fight this season, but if there was a time for him to have his first one, it could very well be Tuesday night against Hathaway.

The 38-year-old Reaves last played on January 2nd against the New York Islanders, seeing seeing minimal ice-time (5:11), and registering 1 hit.

On the back end, with McCabe out, Conor Timmins will draw back into the lineup for the first time since New Years Eve and will skate with Simon Benoit.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson will move up to the second pair with Chris Tanev while Morgan Rielly and Philippe Myers remain as the Leafs' top pair.
