The Toronto Maple Leafs kept things rolling last night as they registered a 4-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers. That makes four wins in a row for the Leafs as they sit atop the Scotia North division, two points ahead of the Montreal Canadiens. Despite the recent success, it seems that head coach Sheldon Keefe isn't happy with everybody as Travis Dermott was made a healthy scratch the other night. Dermott was back in the lineup last night, but it's clear he's not necessarily guaranteed an every night spot. That's what has lead NHL insider Elliotte Friedman to believe Dermott could be headed to Vancouver. The Canucks need help on the blueline and according to Friedman, Dermott is one of three options the Canucks are exploring. Friedman adds Canadiens' defenseman Victor Mete along with St. Louis Blues defenseman Vince Dunn as some other options. Dermott and Mete would probably be the best options as they wouldn't have to go under as long a quarantine as Dunn. No indication on what a possible return could be at the moment.
