The Toronto Maple Leafs are right in the mix to start the season as expected. Toronto currently sits tied with the Montreal Canadiens for first place in the Scotia North division however got hit with the injury bug recently. The team has lost both Joe Thornton and Nick Robertson to long term injuries while superstar forward Auston Matthews is currently playing through an injury of his own. While many will argue the Leafs need help at the blueline, according to various reports the Leafs are looking for some help up front because of the recent injuries. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported this weekend that the Leafs are looking to trade for a forward and Jonas Siegel of The Athletic believes he knows who the sacrificial lamb will be. According to Siegel, defenseman Travis Dermott is the player who general manager Kyle Dubas will tangle in front of other teams. Would you be ok with moving Dermott?
