The Toronto Maple Leafs are back in action tonight against the Edmonton Oilers after a couple of days off between games following a 7-3 win in Washington on Wednesday. Tonight, Ryan Reaves draws back into the lineup as well.

Reaves had been injured during a first period fight against fellow enforcer Nicolas Deslauriers of the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday after being inadvertently poked in the eye, which swelled his eye completely shut on him, effectively removing him from the game.

Reaves had a chance to speak with TSN's Mark Masters on Friday, discussing the injury and how things unfolded. Before ultimately leaving the game, Reaves felt as though he could simply "blink it off", but as he sat in the penalty box, it became clear to him that it wasn't something that would quickly pass, as his vision was clearly impaired.

"It was weird ... I threw one more & thought I could blink it off & I looked & I saw four or five of him. I'm not LeBron, I can't aim at the middle."

Thankfully, Reaves' vision is back to normal now and he'll return to the lineup tonight against the Oilers, who have gone 7-1-2, collecting points in 9 of their last 10 games.

As of this moment, Reaves is slotted to play alongside Pontus Holmberg and Nicholas Robertson on the team's 4th line, but that could change if Tyler Bertuzzi gets the go-ahead from the team's medical staff for tonight's game. Bertuzzi is currently listed as questionable with an illness that has worsened since returning from Washington.
