"Even during the recent lean years, the Toronto Maple Leafs have had some of the highest ticket prices in the National Hockey League. Now that the team is starting to get a taste of success, those prices are getting even higher. Season ticket holders were notified earlier this week that they are going to have to shell out more money to get their seats for the 2018-19 season. Tickets went up on average of 12% after the Maple Leafs returned to the Stanley Cup playoffs last spring and some sections will be jumping up another 15% for next season! According to James Mirtle of The Athletic, lower bowl tickets are going up to $270 from $246 (9.8 % increase) while upper bowl tickets are going from $82 this year to $94 next year (14.6% increase). «There is a wide range of new prices depending on seat location,» Dave Haggith, MLSE's senior director of communications told Mirtle about the increases. «Some locations — in the upper bowl for example — that have shown as well below market value in years past, have a higher increase than other locations for next season.» What do you think of these price increases?"
