"It's a big night in Toronto as the Maple Leafs will take on the Columbus Blue Jackets for Game 3 of their Best of Five series. After losing the first game, the Maple Leafs bounced back in Game 2 with a very solid performance to tie the series up 1-1. With Jake Muzzin gone for the rest of the series, Travis Dermott will have to step up and eat some extra minutes while playing with Justin Holl. When it comes to revealing the defenseman jumping into the lineup tonight, there might actually be two instead of just one.Keefe told media this afternoon that he's seriously considering going with seven defenseman tonight. He wouldn't confirm any other changes besides confirming Dermott will jump up in the lineup. Seven defenseman in the playoffs would obviously be a bit of a gamble, but sometimes gambles pay off. It could mean that both Rasmus Sandin and Martin Marincin jump in while Pierre Engvall sits out. Would be kind of surprising as Engvall didn't look that bad during Game 2.
Sheldon Keefe has made a decision on his lineup for tonight (perhaps 7D?), but won't be telling us anything, obviously. Warmup reveals only! — Kristen Shilton (@kristen_shilton) August 6, 2020
