"The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to strengthen their blueline before the NHL trade deadline. General manager Kyle Dubas made a big move earlier this month when the Leafs landed Jake Muzzin from the Los Angeles Kings. While Muzzin without a doubt makes their top four more talented, the Muzzin-Rielly pairing unfortunately failed. The Leafs need to add something on the right side with too many question marks regarding Ron Hainsey and Nikita Zaitsev slowly turning into a disaster. Earlier this week TSN's Darren Dreger brought up the name Adam McQuaid as an interesting addition to the Leafs blueline which many would like to see. On Thursday, Dreger's colleague, Bob McKenzie, revealed the price to pry McQuaid from the Rangers and it's something the Leafs can afford. According to McKenzie the Rangers would only be looking for a 4th and a 7th round pick in exchange of the blueliner. McQuaid is UFA after the season.
