The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas have their work cut out for them this summer. Of course they have a mountain to conquer first in the Mitch Marner contract negotiations, followed by decisions on Kasperi Kapanen, Andreas Johnsson, Tyler Ennis, Jake Gardiner, Ron Hainsey, Igor Ozhiganov and Martin Marincin when it comes to contracts. However it won't just be contract negotiations that will take place as the futures of possible trade pieces will be looked like Nazem Kadri and Patrick Marleau. While Kadri and Marleau aren't anyway guaranteed to be moved, James Mirtle of The Athletic believes there's two players that are likely to be traded. Mirtle has pegged forward Connor Brown and defenseman Nikita Zaitsev as two players likely to be moved. The reporter mentions that the Leafs have already had talks with Edmonton regarding moving Brown and while Zaitsev's contract is ugly, there's always a need for right handed defenseman across the league. Would you be ok with Dubas moving these two players?
