"Tie Domi has been a fan favourite in Toronto for many years because of the way he played and fought for his Leafs teammates. The 5'10" forward has the most fights in NHL history and a lot of them came in a Leafs uniform, registering a total of 2265 penalty minutes just in a Leafs uniform!Being a Windsor boy, Domi has always loved the Leafs however that's changing with his son having being recently traded to Toronto. Domi appeared on TSN 690 in Montreal on Tuesday and made some pretty big statements starting with "Montreal is the shrine of shrines for all things hockey". Like Max, Tie will switch up his allegiances now "I'm so proud of him and I'll be there on opening night to watch him....Montreal was a great place to play and I'm on your side now"Domi also went on to say that this trade for Max reminds himself a lot of when he was traded back to Toronto by the Jets and called it the best thing that ever happened to him.
