"The Toronto Maple Leafs gave the Montreal Canadiens another tough matchup this weekend. The two teams are likely to faceoff during the first round of the NHL playoffs and right now it definitely looks like things lean in the Leafs favour to finally get out of the first round of the playoffs. Of course anything can happen and the Canadiens have a bunch of Stanley Cup champs on their roster so some believe we'll see a totally different team in the playoffs. One of those players is Corey Perry who is well known for his grimey play and he was at it again this Saturday. As Perry was trying to disturb things in front of the net, TJ Brodie toughed it out and played solid defense in front of the net which resulted in Perry getting frustrated and sucker punching Brodie in the face. Yes you read that right, Brodie basically got punched in the face for playing defense. He commented on Perry and the punch. "I've battled against him for a while now & you just know what type of player he is. He'll go to the dirty areas & he's not afraid to try to draw a penalty & do whatever it takes to get that penalty. You got to be aware of that & try not to get sucked in"What do you think of Brodie's comments?Check out the play again below:
