"It was a sight nobody wanted to see on Saturday as defenseman Tyson Barrie blocked a shot on Saturday and left the game. He had only registered about three minutes of ice time when he blocked a shot that banged up his ankle. Because of the injury, Barrie wasn't able to return to the game. On Monday at practice the defenseman was asked about it.«I'm still a bit sore, some swelling, but was able to practice today with very little issue so should be good tomorrow.» Good to hear after the Leafs called up two defensemen earlier in the day, which gave the impression that Barrie might not be eligible to play on Tuesday night.
