The London Knights and Moose Jaw Warriors went to battle on Monday evening in Memorial Cup round robin action, unveiling some exciting new fight camera angles.

London's Max McCue and Moose Jaw's Caleb Parker squared off last night in a spirited 2nd period clash that saw McCue dispatch of Parker in exciting fashion while the fans in attendance stood on their feet and cheered them on.

The fans watching from home received a special treat as well, with a camera man entering the ice surface on skates to get a close-up with some entertaining on-ice fight coverage.

Should the NHL adopt the idea of having a cameraman on the ice for fights next season?

The NHL is constantly looking for new ways to appeal to new fans and to give current fans new features to get excited about. While not everyone is for fighting in hockey, there are still many fans who enjoy watching two ice warriors go toe-to-toe for that increased burst of emotion. Perhaps having a cameraman standing by to get a little closer to the action would be a worthwhile discussion for the league.

Whether you're for or against fighting in hockey, for right now, it seems to be here to stay. With the NHL being in the entertainment business, it seems plausible that they'd consider trying something like this. Anything to boost ratings, as they say.
