Analyst makes wild prediction and loses his mind live on the broadcast after the Leafs tie the game against Tampa to force OT
Following an improbable third period comeback by the Leafs, NHL on TNT analyst, former player and co-host of the Spittin Chiclets podcast, Paul Bissonnette was fired up during the intermission report.
"Yeah, I'm fired up buddy! Let's talk some Leafs" said Bissonnette to kick of the intermission report. "They were dead to rights, they looked terrible," he continued. " The boys in blue are back! The core four - the ones we believed in resurrected this thing and they look like they're going to go on and win this and be up 3-1 in the series," said an emphatic and fired up Bissonnette.
He wasn't wrong as Alexander Kerfoot tipped in the Mark Giordano point shot just four minutes into overtime to send the Leafs home for Game 5 with a 3-1 series lead. It's the first time Tampa has lost 3 straight playoff games in a decade and the first time Andrej Vasilevskiy has lost 3 straight in the playoffs in his career.
