Auston Matthews chirps Michael Bunting for the way he showed up to Mitch Marner's engagement party
For those who have never had the experience, the brotherhoods that are formed on a team in pretty much any sport are special. We've heard an awful lot about how tight-knit the Leafs are behind the scenes and every now and again, social media allows us a brief glimpse into what the guys are like away from the cameras.
This past weekend, Mitch Marner and his fiancee Steph held an engagement party, which several current and former Leafs players were in attendance for, including Morgan Rielly, Jake Muzzin, Nick Ritchie, Jack Campbell and Michael Bunting. However, Bunting showed looking as though he had just came off the golf course and Auston Matthews was quick to roast him for it.
"Nice of @Bunting27 to dress up for your engagement party," Matthews commented on Marner's photo from the event. Marner replied with a trio of cry-laugh emojis.
Funny enough, Muzzin is not looking overly dressed up himself, yet nobody wanted to comment on the fact that he was also wearing a golf/polo shirt, shorts and tennis shoes to an engagement party.
