Teams continued to trim their training camp rosters ahead of Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend and a number of big contract players have found their way to the waiver wire. Anton Khudobin, Jordan Martinook and Andreas Johnsson are just a few of the bigger names on waivers this afternoon.

Arguably the biggest surprise is former Leaf and 20- goal scorer Andreas Johnsson. At just 27 years old and entering the final year of his contract, Johnsson has struggled since being traded to the Devils for Joey Anderson. He has managed just 18 goals and 46 points in two seasons. In his first season with the Leafs he scored 20 goals and posted 43 points. Anderson has yet to crack the Leafs' lineup with any regularity and appears poised to be waived this weekend.

With a cap hit of $3.4M this year, but an actual salary of only $750K, Johnsson could find himself claimed by a budget team with plenty of cap space and traded at the deadline for a profit.
