Nylander and Bunting work a Tim Horton's Drive Thru; Matthews and Rielly hilariously prank them in social media video
As the Leafs look to wrap up the preseason with a home-and-home against the Detroit Red Wings tonight and tomorrow, the Buds' social media team is sharing a little comic relief to kick off the weekend on a fun note.
Recently, Leafs wingers Michael Bunting and William Nylander visited a Tim Hortons near the team's practice facility. We were given glimpses and sneak peaks of the event over the last week or so, but today, the team's Twitter account shared the full-length video. It even contains an absolutely hilarious cameo appearance from Auston Matthews and Morgan Rielly.
Maybe it's just me, or maybe this era of hockey, with all of the access to social media, but this Leafs team might be the most fun of any that preceded it.
